Pleinair Oilpainting depicting bushes and trees and grass. The atmospheric perspective is accentuated by turning the shadows of the trees further back to a saturated blue. Together with the warm tones of the underpainting shining through, the effect is a vibrant color scape.

Been painting at the river over the last three days. I had to improvise and shove things around quite a bit but overall happy with the experience. Been fiddling exclusively with the water over the last session, but happy with the choices.

Day 8 of PleinAirpril and I’m really enjoying capturing the blossoms just as they start blooming. The magnolia in the garden is just starting as well.

Decided to try #pleinairpainting today. Oil on 5x5 canvas board. Hardest part was my hands kept getting too cold and my pots was making my heart get mad about standing but its a cool thing to practice.

going out to paint this tree. It’s been a struggle, since the weather is very capricious right now, switching from overcast to sunlit in mere seconds. Despite the challenge, I am pleased with aspects of this.
A mother came along with her kids and told me that I was very talented and I should do something with that. Well, I told her that I am painting a picture.

Allaprima Oilpainting made on location of a moss covered tree. The background is kept really rough design wise but the colors are kept quite realistic. 18 x 24 cm made in 3 hours.

I think I was supposed to paint a portrait today, but I woke up too late to make it to my portrait group :(. Oh well, I’m not really flooded with cash right now so I made a pleinair painting. The outside doesn’t ask for model money :D. Anyways, I passed by this construction site the other day and though that wanted to paint that. The workers were very nice, too.
