A polaroid shot taken this morning of street art on a white-painted cinderblock retaining wall. The street art is an American flag - a bit faded by the shitty instant film that has been sitting in my camera for 3 months... so the red strips are a bit orangey.

There is a story, often told, that upon exiting the Constitutional Convention Benjamin Franklin was approached by a group of citizens asking what sort of government the delegates had created. His answer was: "A republic, if you can keep it."
