Souvenir d’un été à Porto, de déambulations sur les pentes de Vila Nova de Gaia entre les entrepôts des vins de Porto. La vue imprenable sur le Douro vous donne envie de vous installer à la terrasse d’une taverne et de porter à vos lèvres un petit verre de porto bien rond. Ce que je n’ai pas manqué de faire, à raison car, le goût de ce vin sucrée a marqué au passage les souvenirs le plus tendres de mon séjour au Portugal.

A cyanotype inspired by Kintsugi. It is very abstract, blues and whites, with 'cracks' filled in with gold leaf. It went through many processes over several years to get to this condition!

A quilt, 2m by 1.5m, completely hand-stitched and decorated with sashiko patterns showing 4 circles of different sizes, overlapping, which represent a public sculpture near my house. The other patterns are the moon, clouds, fog, sea, waves... It is blue (denim) with white threads and the circles are shades of red and orange

Hugin / Munin ... a work based on Odin's ravens - thought and memory. Thought is represented by raven feathers. Memory by a cyanotype image of the same feathers. The two forms - feather and 'shadow', or thought and memory - are joined by red thread
