Yesterday’s #positivity is a death in the family. My wife’s grandmother died at the age of 97. Her quality life life had diminished massively in the last 18 months and her passing peacefully in a hospice was, in my view, a relief.
As someone with an interest in frailty and how we manage it in healthcare and society I have tried to offer some of my expertise.
Seeing how her decline was managed from a personal level has been eye opening sometimes positively but largely negatively sadly.
