Nun hab ich es doch tatsächlich geschafft, WLAN in meiner Garage aufzuspannen.

Realisiert über #Powerline, da meine Garage ca. 30m vom Haus weg liegt.

Hat früher massiv Probleme beim DSL verursacht, jetzt stabilste Verbindung ever. 🤷‍♂️

Ergebnis: Nun kann ich mich dort auch #homeassistant technisch austoben. Erste Steckdose zur Messung des #balkonkraftwerk ist bereits installiert - so bekomme ich nach Jahren auch mal wieder Daten. Jetzt wartet der Garagentor-Öffner 😉

Recently I had to put a camera where I had neither, ethernet nor wifi. So I took a #powerline adapter and bought a "Gembird ICAM" because I found it for around 30 €. (You can find this thing for anything between 30 and 300 €) and spent - I don't know - maybe three hours or so to get it working with #homeassistant via... #go2rtc. Not via #ONVIF 😕 Not #PTZ

Jeanine is one of Powerline’s backup dancers from the concert at the end of the movie and I was this unnamed girl in the background who is a fan of Lester’s Possum Park Possum Posse Jamboree.
