In #Ecclesiastes 1:2-8, the #Preacher set forth the cyclical nature of life.
There is nothing really new; everything has some antecedent in the past. What happens now is what happened in the past and will happen again. This is true on every level: individually, communally, socially.
We experience this acutely in terms of all of our #constant #behaviors: daily, weekly, monthly, annual tasks and such things.
Some such things we enjoy; many of them we find intolerable.
So I finally got around to watching the 1972 documentary Marjoe. It's wild. I grew up in a Christian cult, in some ways very different, but it's amazing how much of the core is shared.
