I used to frig around with having a 'do it all' colour inkjet printer, but with the infrequency of how often I print, when I went to use it the heads or ink would almost always be clogged or dried up.

So, my 'solution'.

Cheap thrift store laser printer (dead simple with usb only) never dries up or clogs.

And a Dye-sub Canon Selphy printer for when I want to print colour prints.

Only thing that sucks is dye sub printers create a lot of waste - the plastic film only prints one print per section of film, so when it's exhausted you just toss the whole roll of 'exposed' colour panels.

But it's far cheaper than throwing away money on clogged print heads 💰 🗑️

Since I relaunched freedeedpoll.org.uk three months ago (with new features) and made an explanatory demo video, the volume and kinds of questions I've been emailed has... become larger and more diverse.

I still get questions about childrens' names and citizenship and gender recognition certificates and things.

But now I also get questions like "how do I print multiple copies of the PDF?" and "why does my homemade deed poll not have a serial number?" 😂

Ended up with a Brother HL-L2445DW -A4 - Has "Linux Drivers" and appears to be very well reviewed + a lot of people are saying anything from Brother is "OK" or "Good"
