Der #Europäische #Gerichtshof ( #EUGH ) wird die Lizenzvereinbarungen eines Programms eines US-Tech-Konzerns (hier #MS365 von #Microsoft ) in Hinsicht auf den Datenabfluss in die USA auf Konformität mit der #DSGVO überprüfen.

Zum ersten Mal seit er das USA/EU-Privacy Shield für unwirksam erklärt hatte.

Ausgerechnet die EU-Kommission, zuständig für die Einhaltung der Datenschutzgrundverordnung bei Datenübertragungen in Drittländer, hat vor dem Europäischen Gericht eine Niederlage erlitten:
Die EU-Kommission sei dafür verantwortlich, dass beim Aufruf der Website "https://futureu.europa.eu" personenbezogene Daten in die USA übermittelt worden seien, obwohl es dazu keine Rechtsgrundlage gegeben habe.

Google didnt answer, but they do a lot of lobbying in the Bundestag (like the others), so I got some answers, too. tl,dr: Microsoft is in defense mode, both Amazon and Google do a lot of things right, but only Amazon was able to provide the obvious, credible answers. Read yourself in the new issue of IT-Administrator ... in german and print only up to now...
