As I'm unfurling back into Mastodon I have noticed that @Michaelvaliant has stopped being active here.
I loved his #promptodon entries as they brought me an interesting challenge. So, I would like to pick it up.
However, I will not do it daily but on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday (at least for now).
Images will be either fantasy or SF (though I might drop some realistic ones for a change).

By midday Grens knew he would not make it home before nightfall. Descent was slow going. His steps no longer had the springliness of youth. He decided to camp midslope, safe from oxodont hunters that roamed in the vale at night.
He made his camp on a ledge and waited for shadows to turn into greenish haze that was the night on Espass, and for golden specks of settlement's lights to appear.
But tonight there were no lights. The vale remained still and dark.

This world has such a sprightliness you can feel and even breath it in. It's a green paradise. The first colonizers were taken aback but they got used. 10 generations later, even the immense moon, with it's great blue and toxic oceans, is something we don't think about anymore. But some of our experts say things are changing. Our world is becoming colder every year. The Star Portal collapsed and we can't go anywhere. We may have to fix this world…
