Zainspirowany powyższym przygotowałem slogany dla Komisji Europejskiej :KEKW:
1. Cyfrowy nadzór dzięki #eidas2 to wolność.
2. Tylne furtki w szyfrowaniu dzięki #ProtectEU to bezpieczeństwo.
3. Kasowanie treści bez procesu sądowego dzieki #DigitalServicesAct to wartości europejskie.
The @EUCommission Internal Security Strategy, #ProtectEU, includes a Technology Roadmap on encryption, raising concerns about law enforcement access to encrypted data. @edri and 39 organizations urge inclusion of experts and civil society for an evidence-based approach.
The consensus is clear: granting law enforcement access to end-to-end encryption creates #vulnerabilities.
@eff has joined more than 80 civil society organizations, companies, and cybersecurity experts in signing a letter urging the @EUCommission to change course on its recently announced “Technology Roadmap on #Encryption" The roadmap, part of the EU’s #ProtectEU strategy, discusses new ways for law enforcement to access encrypted data. That framing is dangerously flawed.

If you are a customer of EU hosting companies or, like me, looking to start a business in the EU, you need to provide your feedback immediately.
This proposal not only eradicates any privacy you think you have as a customer, it makes it impossible for your provider to secure basic things like payment systems, and adds at the minimum, millions in costs for any business to even attempt to comply.
It's even worse than the US.

This open letter is a response to #ProtectEU from 82 civil society organisations, scientists and researchers with expertise in human rights and technology.
