I wanted to shout out @We_Own_It who are a tiny organisation making big changes in UK fighting for #publicOwnership of #publicServices and against #privatisation of #nhs #healthCare #water (inc. campaigns #pollution profiteers #thamesWater and #southEastWater) and calls to #nationalise our #railway
They produce really great resources and stats and ways to take action - with both online petitions and on the ground local #activist groups.
They're new here and could do with some welcome boosts; so many people here would want to support them, I believe.
Email #Ofwat - the public have said NO to illegal #sewage until 2040
In order to maximise their #profits, #Thames #Water's creditors are asking Ofwat and the government to pollute illegally until 2040.
Members of the public, MPs and #anti-sewage campaigners have all spoken out about how outrageous this deal is, urging Ofwat to say no.

Zack Polanski of the Greens tells us that water should be nationalised. I don't disagree, but he needs to break free from the compulsion to present English stories as UK stories, something the main English parties do all the time. Some information for Zack, the other main parties in England and the press, Scotland's water and sewerage services are already publicly owned.

Any fool should have known that this is a lethal think to do. Waste managment in the UK, of course is a multi-million pound business, run for profit. A natural monopoly that should be in #PublicOwnership.
