Getting ready for #PyConLT #Python

I may be getting too picky in my old age. Having written the slides for my #pyconlt keynote tomorrow (a) using a markup language that I invented for this particular slide deck, and (b) generated using the ‘reportlab’ PDF library with a Python script I wrote, I now — with less than 24 hours to go — have apparently decided to (c) write my own PDF viewer to present them with.

Hoping I don't find myself still awake at midnight, rewriting my editor or OS.

Gave a talk on pickle, the built in Python object serialisation library. Fun questions and a little hack session afterwards customising the serialisation used in `multiprocessing`

Also, that was really accurate kick in the butt for not continuing Lithuanian initiatives. Some of those died (like Ubuntu Baltix) years ago with people losing interest and/or moving on. Btw, found yet another resource translated to the local language:
