If you like the idea of using #Moodle #Quiz to learn, as much as for assessment I recommend the Interactive with multiple tries question behaviour. This allows the use of “multiple attempts”, probably better thought of as Multiple attempts with hints.
However your teachers may not even know that Question behaviours exist. So if you are the admin you can set that behaviour as the default for new questions by going to this global setting.

I have just run the Behat automated tests for my #Moodle #Gapfill #question type

against the most recent beta version of Moodle 4.3. I am delighted to say that the tests ran and so it will be ready for use when 4.3 is released on 9 Oct. Next stop will be to test my WordSelect question type.

Customise the moodle question bank
There is code awaiting integration to allow users to customise their view of the question bank. This includes re-ordering, removing and resizing the columns. The work is being done by my colleague Mark Johnson of Catalyst EU and I am hoping it gets into the upcoming release of Moodle 4.3

Caught up on the last 3 weeks of #OnlyConnect and was pretty happy to get 3 of the unsolved questions from the early rounds. I even got the "Minds" music round - and I never get music rounds!
The walls from the past 2 weeks raised the stakes, and I thought the 4, 5, and 6-based missing vowels round was the trickiest for some time.
It’s (un)lucky number take 4 of Monday night #quizzing tonight, as #Monday the quizzes weren’t on, #Tuesday the kids woke up all evening, last night I was at college & tonight…. Both kids are snotbags and so I’m in with little one, husband in with big one. I just want to watch #OnlyConnect, please!
