Of the #shortstories I’ve posted on my website, I think “Minx Mouse Monster” is my favorite. It’s #BeautyandtheBeast-inspired, shaken up with the #Rasputina song “The New Zero.” If you know the song, you’ll see the influence right away with the first sentence: "Her lover was a monster—long teeth, fur, claws and all.” That sentence came to me, and the story flowed from there! “MMM" was published in The Fortean Bureau, edited by Jeremy Tolbert.
