This mini stack of second-hand clothing is almost ready to roll.
Collaborating with Kelly Reemtsen, I mirrored the colors of the dress in her painting.
Both works will be part of our upcoming show, Gathering Threads, opening soon at Galleri Oxholm in Køge, Denmark.

Every year, I seem to take somewhere around 3—5 photos which I immediately know to be the best shots of that year. This was one of them.

We had a photoshoot in Helsinki last May, for my fiancée's and her colleague's jewelry and accessory brand Minka ( www.minka.fi ). It was the first bona fide summer day of the year, with beautiful weather and perfect shooting conditions.
I've been doing these shoots since 2011, with each new session being more fun and fruitful than the last.

Stunning Stained Glass Greenhouse Transforms London’s Streets into a Living Work of Art

In the middle of London, there's a greenhouse made entirely from old stained glass windows, and it's catching everyone's attention. Artists Heywood and Condie used windows from old churches to create this glowing artwork, also known as “Sacré Blur”. During the day, the sunlight shines through the colorful glass, and at night, it lights up like a glowing piece of art. Sitting between tall, modern buildings, this greenhouse is a mix of history and creativity. It brings something […]

A stunning greenhouse made from repurposed stained glass windows from old churches, designed by artists Heywood and Condie in London. The structure glows brilliantly at night, showcasing intricate religious imagery, saints, and decorative patterns in vibrant blues, reds, and yellows. Surrounded by modern buildings, this unique installation contrasts history with contemporary urban life, blending art, sustainability, and architectural beauty.

Someone made this makeshift, used pallet library near the beach in a road median. Looked like there were several useful things inside. I kind of love its simplicity and beachy vibe.

@c3himmel I had neither a badger holder, nor a lanyard for #38C3 . Thus, I just crafted my own from #recycledmaterials and a general-purpose rubber within 30 min.

Due to the format of the packaging material I used for the badge holder, the latter is in landscape format. Secondly, I will have to cut the margins of my ticket so that it will fit into the badger holder. However, I'm happy about the result. #diy

The picture shows my selfmade badge holder with a lanyard for the 38c3 Chaos Communication Congress in Hamburg.

The plastic for the badge holder is composed of two transparent sturdy pieces of packaging material. That packaging material comes from two small unrelated articles I recently bought. There are four holes in each piece of the transparent packaging material: one pre-made hole at the top that was used in order to hang the above-mentioned articles on a shelf's metal hook in a shop. In addition, I drilled three tiny holes at the bottom into the transparent plastic - at first with the help of a nail, then with a pair of scissors.
The lanyard is an old strap of a broken bag. The lanyard as well as three short wires in plastic sheathing (the latter also used to be packaging material, once holding device cables together) are holding the transparent plastic pieces together by running through the above-mentioned holes. At the same time, they keep the congress ticket in place so that it cannot slip out of the badge holder. A general-purpose rubber is wrapped around the two ends of the lanyard. There is no chain lock.
If you have questions, please feel free to ask.
