Axed feds who landed a new job - any tips?
Former HHS Health Scientist in DC. I was part of the probationary slaughter in February, reinstated, then fired for good in May, 11 days before my 1 year mark.I've applied to more than 100 positions since then (I know, I've been told I should be applying to way more). I spend at minimum an hour customizing each resume. I've only had interviews with 2 organizations. I have more than 10 years experience and have landed just about every job I've interviewed for prior to this.I'm losing motivation and brain power. When I sit down to tailor a resume for a new application, my brain feels foggy and my heart discouraged. I am equal parts desperate and tired. If you've landed a job, and have advice, please share.
