Cynthia's greatest nightmare is losing control of her vampire side. The side that is a natural blood suckers, one can compare them to a monster of the night. To be a puppet of this inner instinct she has worked hard to control and manage within her lifetime. And yet, sometimes when she sleeps, she can feel the nightmare becoming more and more real. In the realm of dreams she can not escape the horror that may possibly come if she laxed control; and a fear of becoming far more worse than human.

This is sort of a remake of one of my old pieces but more it's own thing. I always had the idea of Cynthia being fearful of her vampire side, always thinking of it like it controls her even unintentionally. Leaning into that idea is her as a wodden puppet with no control over herself and her action. I wanted to do something like that but also add a shelved idea. There's a character called "Darkness" that was from an old group RP called "Echoes In The Rain" and she was more the evil villian and mirror to Cynthia. So I wanted her to be the puppet of Cynthia as if she's controlling her vampire side; luckly my friend Azura has an old WIP I was able to use. Add a bit of scratch brushes to the BG and I love how dark this image came out.

Cynthia ([She/Her] A chipper Mermaid Vampire hybrid girl with long pink hair and mismatched side bangs. Having a large chest covered by pointed blue seashell bra or a white shirt and blue sweatshirt. Sometimes sporting large black bat wings that allows her to fly. Her eyes being blood red with a half-pointed pupil, her skin being lighter than Caucasian.) in her ballerina attire but turned into a wooden maronette puppet. Blood running down from her fangs while tears come out of her "possibly" painted on their face. Her strings looking like their made of blood while a figure with deep red eyes and black hair is puppeting her from high above; with a devious smile on her face.

Marcille is a cyborg constructed for a wealthy family as well to eliminate targets the family deemed a threat or for a bounty. The name was given to her thru a combination of her production line tag: M-4R71 and members of the family filling in the gaps. When she came online, she was as cold as any robot would be, showing little deviations towards commands and the words from her vocal cord; making it easier to eliminate those against the family.

The cycles of time moved forward and so did the ease of killing. Tho, with extra downtime, she began learning more about the world, it’s culture, it’s languages and history. She added little things to herself, like a ribbon around her thigh, and a spider lily in her headband. Soon, she obtained independent thought, ‘she thinks, therefore she is.’

While she has not had to decide not to kill nor too many difficult choices, she has become so familiar with the bloodshed that if another job comes by that involves taking a life, she (might have) no hesitation to act.

So happy I got this idea down. This is a character started from tutu sawblade and evolved from there as a thought a ballerina with blades would be so cool and badass. I was struggling on how to do the legs for a while until I saw an art piece with these curved long blade legs. Things then slowly fell into place, and finished with this masterpiece. I ended up adding a spider lily on her hairband to make it feel more "human" and for a sprinkling of symbolism.

Dreamscape to those has but one yet important gift, the ability to grant people's deepest desires; even ones they never knew they wanted. But, they do not realize it is but a dream; one their soul can never wake up from. In their place is a body being puppeted by Dreamscape himself to do as he pleases. The only way to escape is to realize it is a dream and to truely deny the deepest desire. Even after that, if they do get such desire, they will die by a heart attack. Once Dreamscape has his sights on you, his long shadow is all but impossible to avoid; and all the more likely it is for him to have one... more... SOUL!
