Oh my word... we just watched *seven* red kites fly over our garden. That's easily the most in one sighting. We're just on the outskirts of #Brighton and red kites have slowly been arriving. They're plentiful further north in Sussex and to the west (especially around the M25) but it's taken them a long time to reach Brighton. A few years ago we'd see maybe one or two a year, then slowly we'd get several annual sightings of lone kites. Last year it became clear that numbers were slowly increasing, but today's sighting is something else! #Birds #BirdsOfMastodon #RedKite #photography #wildlife #Nature

Ein Rotmilan im Flug, vor blauem Himmel. Man kann die Flügel gut erkennen, weil er segelt. Er kuckt etwas grimmig. Die Flügel haben außen einen weißen Fleck auf der Unterseite. Man sieht seine angeklappten Füße.
