I can't say I feel particularly sorry for Chancellor Rachel Reeves who broke down in tears in the Commons today. She was prepared to cut the essential benefits of disabled people. But Starmer's refusal to back her is thoroughly shoddy. It was his policy. Now he's trying to save his own skin by blaming her.
