This is just a small optimization: we reuse empty tab numbers. So there’s no wasted numbering.
In Jollpi Text Editor, when you close tab n and k, then open a new one — it immediately fills those empty slots. Simple, but it keeps the tab order clean and consistent.
Even when opening multiple windows, memory usage remains efficient. Spinning up ten separate windows adds only a minimal memory footprint — the efficiency is noticeable.

Despite the ring's description that says, "hits may cause instant death", Shanoa actually loses HP equal to her maximum HP with each hit (ignoring the CON and MND stats).

Because of this, there's an exception around the instant death effect, if Shanoa is equipped with the Heart Cuirass and the sum of her HP and Hearts is over her maximum HP, she will survive with a small ammount of HP left. Normally, if at full HP and with at least 1 Heart, all Hearts will be lost, and her HP will be equal to the number of Hearts she had before being hit.

• It is even possible to survive multiple hits if #Shanoa has more Hearts than maximum HP, which doesn't usually occur unless playing on Hard lv. cap of 1 and forgoing all HP Max Ups while taking all Heart Max Ups
