A pistol crossbow is shown next to 6 recycled crossbow bolts made by cutting down broken and discarded carbon fiber arrows from the range.

This still has a lot of glue to dry on it, so it'll sit for a long while, possibly months, before grouting. That's okay, I'm patient. It's always worth the wait. #patienceiskey #mosaicartist #upcycled #reuserecyclerevamp

In the end I bought some clearance drill kits for $20 each from the Warehouse. I Frankensteined the battery terminals (red) onto the old tools. The tool doesn't care what flavour of electricity you put into it, as long as it gets the right voltage and current. Some soldering of leads, reused screws, LED bulbs, and copius hot glue later, I had ugly, working tools.
Here's the work light. There is also 2 drills, a sabre saw and a skilsaw. The skilsaw sucks.

The replacement LED bulb is almost tolerable after the horrors we've seen together. The monster who created the monster is the real monster. Doctor Frankenstein IS the monster!

#Kapiti #Icecream tubs make great #patio #garden #planters with a bit of tweaking. Layer them 2 deep and punch holes in the top one. This (hopefully) provides drainage and moisture retention. Will see how it goes!
