Imagine hearing this for the first time.
"Taxman" is a song by the English rock band #theBeatles from their 1966 album #Revolver. Written by the group's lead guitarist, #GeorgeHarrison, with some lyrical assistance from #JohnLennon, it protests against the higher level of #progressiveTax imposed in the United Kingdom by the #Labour government of #HaroldWilson, which saw the Beatles paying over 90 per cent of their earnings to the #Treasury. The song was selected as the album's opening track.

I don't remember when was the last time I had watched a movie so strong that my mind literally cannot stop obsessing over it. Being on a Luc Besson marathon I discovered that there is a misunderstood film which Besson wrote together with Guy Ritchie, which was directed by Ritchie, which is called Revolver. The 13% score on Rotten Tomatoes, in my opinion i...

A new one can't be bought
But what you've got means such a lot to me
Make love all day long
Make love singing songs

#TLDW: There is rarely a good reason for a #Revolver to be chosen over a semi-automatic pistol.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVDDD5qPafw
Unless you are a securty guard or high-ranking police officer in Germany who most likely never has ti discharge their sevice gun outside of mandatory training on the shooting range, there rarely is a reason to go with a gun. And these folks could are easily covered with a .38 Spechal 6" aluminium frame because there isn't much to do with them.
Unlike self-loaders there isn't much modifyability by nature (supressors don't work outside of guns like the M1897 Nagant which has atrocious trigger pull!) and unless the drum and barrel are located forward Revolvers will always have a higher sight position.
The need for rimmed casings or moon clips really artifically reduces compatibility (there's a reason 7,62x54R is the only service cartridge with a rum still fielded in any substantial number!) for ammo conversions: It's easier to build a 1911 that can reliably handle .357 Magnum or a Mauser that does .500 Magnum than it is to support .38ACP in a revolver (maybe .25ACP would work fine given the rim, but the cylinder gap will make it poop out if the barrel below high-velocity .22lr rounds.)
Drums and speedloaders are way more expensive than magazines per design. You can 3D-print a 30rd Glock mag for $2 but I'm pretty shure reuseable and reliable speedloaders fir Revolvers cost way more.
Unlike a semi-auto ir even manual pistol and rifle there are no good bracing & stick options or means to turn them into carbines with proper front hand placement.
Any solution to make revolvers better will always feel tacked-on hacks that one could've chosen with a rifle or pistol or shotgun.
Having to decide between lightweight or affordable and still sucking compared to a self-loader in spite of lesser parts and size is really noping it.
There ain't enough Miculek and Lucky Gunner types out there that are able and willing to pay a premium for something that a surplus'd M9 or pawn shop buy will do as good if not better espechally adjusted for their cost!
I mean, look at the boutique stuff Korth and other custom builders do and realize that Revolvers died in service use >50 years ago when it became clear that noone but Dirty Harry and other unstable personalities (with very few exceptions!) Are gonna carry a .44 Magnum.

The Beatles' "Revolver", released in the US in August 1966, changed the course of recording history. Their final tour started August 12th and they performed none of the songs from the album.
