Our new #Bird Bath has become the after work drinking joint for the local Robin population.

Here, 4 #Robins stop by for a few quick gulps of our very tasty well water. Overheard was them complaining about the bully Stellar Jay in the yard, and that big orange and white cat from across the street who is coming several times a day for a drink. One says if she sees the raccoon stealing water again, she's going to peck its %#@&! little eyes out.

And no, I did not spike the bird bath with vodka.

Sparrows you can talk to informally, like "dude" or "girl", they're fine with it.

Robins just want to be called "Robin" but you do have to figure out the pitch each one uses, it's a tonal naming system.

Cardinals, of course, should only be addressed as "Your Eminence" unless you're at an equal social standing (hint: you're not).
