I've recently come to peace with my own age, but looking at time still fascinates me. Most effective is looking up how long things and people have been around. The Chili Peppers started 1982! Makes sense, since I've been listening to RHCP for over 20 years now, but then again I've also been a fan of Paramore for almost as long, except they are my age, with Zac Farro having been an important role model for me.
