We succeeded in writing a (very barebones) HTTP server with just the Rust std library at the Rust for Lunch meet-up today.
Here is the code as it was at the end of the hour, `dbg!` statements and all.

Watch out Axum/Actix web/Rocket, `http-for-lunch` is coming for you!
The September Rust for Lunch meet-up is today!
Due to illness, we've had a last minute change in schedule. Instead of the planned talk, we're going to have a group implementation session where why try to implement an HTTP server with the Rust standard library.
I'll be driving the keyboard, but the implementation should come from everyone else. So grab your copy of RFC 2616 and get ready!
I'll see you all at 11:00 UTC!
📣 We’ve managed to make more space available at #EuroRust24! 🦀 If you missed out earlier, now’s your (last) chance to secure a seat. The additional spots won’t last long, so grab ‘em while you can!
We’re just one month away from #eurorust24! We are now on the final stage of preparation to welcome the Rust community in Vienna. Whether you’re attending for the talks, workshops, or conference, it’s all happening soon. See you there! 🦀

Just finished up the June Rust for Lunch meetup.
Today we did a group session on the Rust Quiz.
We looked at the questions #17, #31, #8, #29, #34, #3.
I don't think we got a single one of them right on the first try (edit: except for #31, but I missed the correct answer in the text chat, check replies for who is was!), but I learnt a few more things in the process and enjoyed myself a lot. I hope everyone else did as well!
Rust for Lunch group quiz is starting now!
