What a lovely city Busan is β™₯️! Today we took the beach train and visited the coast neighbourhoods from Mipo to Seongjong. We wanted to come back with the Sky Capsule in the afternoon but unfortunately all the tickets were sold out 😭.

Anyway it's so beautiful! I envy the people living in those areas.
In the evening we took a taekwondo class, but I will tell you about this in a separate post.

Another day that didn't exactly go according to the plan. We travelled to Pohang to see the Space Walk, but unfortunately we couldn't climb it. Due to a bit of rain it was closed until dry. We couldn't wait because we were supposed to catch a bus to Busan in the afternoon.

So we had lunch at Paris Baguette and they sell K-pop Demon Hunters themed cakes β™₯️🍰

Today we had to change our plans. We travelled to #MureungValley in the Gangwon province to visit the theme park with impressive zip lines.

Unfortunately it was heavily raining, so we decided to go on a hike to the #Samhwasa #temple despite the weather conditions. Even though we chose the easiest hike, it was too dangerous to cross the river in the stepstones and we headed back to a coffee shop after 1.5 km.

Today we went on a guided tour to the DMZ. We started with a short hike to the Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge.
It was a lovely experience, this country has a lot of hiking paths to explore.
Next the Imjingak park, where we saw the monument of the comfort ladies and the reunification bridge on Imjingak river.
From the Dorasan Observatory we looked at the nearest North Korean city, however the best part of the tour was the 3rd tunnel. A 250 m walk down to 73 m underground (and then up πŸ˜…!).
We weren't allowed to take pictures in the tunnel or in the observatory, but I could take one from the bus at the DMZ line. Dans of the #kdrama #CrashLandingOnYou will surely recognize it πŸ˜„

We had lunch at the Reunification village. Not sure what I ate because it was a buffet, but everything was delicious. The meat was definitely pork, the kimchi was incredibly delicious and those little balls are ginkgo nuts.

Korean street food is at another level. Myeongdong again, we don't feel the need to explore a different neighborhood when so many cheap delicacies are just downstairs πŸ˜‹β™₯️

I've never seen something like this 🀩🀀

First meal in Myeong-dong.

Fried shrimps, tteokbokki (not too spicy), fried chicken, banana milk and orange juice.

So good (and cheap πŸ€‘!)

We arrived late with all the things we had to do at the airport: withdrawing cash, picking up the Discover Seoul and Visit Busan passes, getting the train ticket from Incheon to Seoul...

Each of these tasks had its own surprises πŸ˜„
