Steady progress has continued now that I've recovered
The interior of the body sections will be completed in a few weeks

Having a hard time getting a photo that captures the straightness of the body sections, since the upper four sections are healing and slightly scabbed they don't bend perfectly with the skin. One thing I need to work on is taking better photos of my work

The centipede is made of simple lines and has a stinger at its end. It's style is roughly inspired by Moche art. The body sections are rounded squares and the legs are simple lines with a bend. The centipede has two front legs pointing towards the thumbnail and two curved pincers in between

Two additional body sections and several additional legs added (outline of a total of four body sections has been completed).

Intentionally stretching this transformative piece out over several days, coinciding with personal work, ceremony, and prayer.

There will be 7 body sections in all, and each will eventually house contents according to its individual significance.
