I'm going to watch the #kMovie Uprising (2024, Joseon #saguek) again, which I liked. I thought the ML looked familiar at the time but couldn't place him. And, DUH, it's Kang Dong Won (ML Tempest) looking ragged in long hair and a beard wielding a sword (still handsome, Netflix lists him as Gang Dong Won, again duh). It also stars Jin Seon Kyu, another favorite actor.

@jcurries Yi San is one of my fave #saguek #kdrama.

The Tale Of Lady Ok (2024) is a very good well-acted fast-paced #saguek about social justice during the Joseon period, how it applied to her situation, and various people and conditions in the village she ends up in. I was unfamiliar with both leads but by the end I was very impressed with FL Im Ji Yeon as Lady Ok, and ML Choo Young Woo playing a double role. There were other strong performances from the supporting cast, especially Lee Jae Won as faithful Man Seok.

One of my favorite #saguek #Kdrama. I love Ha Ji Won, and in dramas Damo and Chocolate, too. JCW surprised me with his acting of the Yuan Emperor, not a bad portrayal. The drama strayed away from historical facts in some parts, still it was a good drama. #TheEmpressKi

Coincidentally, just finished watching Jewel In The Palace and rewatching the last three episodes EP:52-54. One of the best #saguek (historical drama) in my opinion, along with Jumong, Emperor of the Sea, Six Flying Dragons. Notable mention, Empress Ki, Yi San, Dong Yi.
