My boat is still in dry dock and I'm positioned very close to the crane that they use to haul boats out of water to work on them. This morning I captured a short video of them hauling a sailboat out of the water and putting it on their boat-moving trailer. They are power washing it now. Photos show the progression of the crane's sling being placed around the boat while it's still in the water, a screen grab of the actual movement video I shot, and the boat on the trailer. #boating #sailboats

Nets on a large, historic sailing ship. There is a large black ring, you can see three quarters of it. The ring runs from the left, along the top of the photo to the bottom right. A brown net is attached to the ring all around. In some places you can look through it and see the blue sky. Behind it are more of these nets stretched. A net on the left is frayed. It looks like jute, but very thin. At the top right you can see a few more of those black rings with nets on them.

Reflection in the water of the 4 brown and dark red sails of the ship on a sky blue background. The photo is turned around, so you see them as in reality. The 4 mirrored sails are narrow and vertical. They are separate from each other and are distributed over the entire photo. At the bottom right of the photo the reflection of the yellow-brown slats of a wooden fence.
