Today's photo: Oostelijke Handelskade - quay | IJ (1895).

[EN] On the right, on Oostelijke Handelskade: warehouse Wilhelmina (1892) and warehouse Australië (1895). The ship was probably a Rumanian navy ship.

The Man-of-War Brielle on the River Maas off Rotterdam (1689) by Ludolf Bakhuizen (1630-1708). In 1688, this ship carried Prince William III to England to drive King James II from power. The Latin inscription on the red flag translates as ‘for faith and freedom’. Bakhuysen painted this picture in 1689, the year in which William III and Mary Stuart were crowned king and queen regnant of England.

Today was etching time again.

While the motif is alright, the prints didn't want to get as defined as I would have liked them to, despite several tries to correct the line weight and stuff. Next time maybe.
