As a young atheist years ago and used to like Sam, It's quite obvious for all to see how right wing Sam really is
He seems to be the new Oprah Winfrey. Charismatic, likeable, but vacuous softball interviews constantly which end up elevating terrible people and spreading horrible misinformation.

Let me list the reasons I detest Substack. 1. You must sign up. 2. The publishers you want to follow have you with a different email. Your paid account for that author #Samharris is different from you substack account as well as all the others you follow because your smart enough to not use the same flipping email for all things. 3 spam you to follow others you for more people to follow. 4 no way to work around this without compromising my anti spam emails. Is someone using the "Waking Up" #meditation app by #samharris? Would you recommend?
Hello fellow fediversers :) I'm looking for recommendations on huided #meditation apps, webinars or content. I used to practice with Sam Harris' app years ago, but I don't feel comfortable anymore paying money to a white man that has made tons of money through this.
Does anyone have a reccomendation to how to practice meditation online, any resources or trusted guides that are not making money from cultural appropiation?
Spanish, Catalan and English are the preferred languages. Also I'm willing to pay if the community/practitioners are interesting, small, respectful, etc.

Doesn’t Sam Harris live on the same street as, if not right next to, Tom Hanks, up in the Riviera section of Pacific Palisades? Is that Harris’ house gone in the picture? I do not know for sure, just asking.
@gimulnautti don't worry, i've been reading a lot of #RichardDawkins and #SamHarris and they've convinced me that Europe, due its superior moral culture and the influence of Christianity, has turned a corner and will not descend into barbarism again. Likewise #StevenPinker concludes the same, but credits Europe's wonderful liberal political arrangements and sociotechnical progress.
