Le journaliste pro-palestinien Hüseyin #Doğru, né en Allemagne, a été visé par des sanctions imposées par l’Union européenne après sa couverture de la guerre à Gaza.

Ses comptes bancaires ont été gelés et il ne dispose plus que de 560 euros mensuels, somme que sa banque refuserait parfois de lui verser. Il affirme également être empêché de quitter le pays et rencontre des difficultés pour payer son logement et ses frais juridiques. Les sanctions ont été adoptées sans procédure judiciaire, affirme-t-il.

Il conteste par ailleurs avoir été présenté comme ressortissant non-européen dans certains documents, ce qui l’aurait privé de voies de recours.

Toute aide financière ou matérielle pourrait exposer des tiers à des poursuites pour contournement des sanctions, tandis qu’une nouvelle loi allemande étendrait ces mesures à sa famille.

Son média en ligne RED, qui traitait notamment de #Gaza et de la répression policière à #Berlin, a été contraint de cesser ses activités en mai dernier après avoir cumulé des centaines de millions de vues en quelques mois.
