Success! I was able to get a hold of a set of Medium length "Ruthenium" aka "Dark Chrome" #StrapLocks S-Locks. #Schaller quit making this color a few years ago. I looked around a few different places and even had an order canceled. I don't get why they quit making this color. A ton of guitars have this kind of hardware finish. Repaired a Schaller wah / volume for a friend today. Here's a peak inside, pre-cleanup.
That wiring is a good reminder that chasing vintage gear is… not always justified :) The same model is currently listed on Reverb for 250€

#GHSstrings half round on the bottom of my 6-string #guitar. Make it G# standard. The rest are flatwounds. .22g wound topmost
Double up courses a la #12string but, only the top 3. Plain (neon white) #DRstrings +1 octave.
Tailpiece & bridge rattle. I adjusted what I could. Slightly better.
Replace w/ #Bigsby vibrato & #Schaller bridge. File custom ridges & lube for strings.
Replace nut. Black natural material.
