When I was 13-14, late Aug evening, no wind, I noticed heat still rising from BBQ coals. I got a dry cleaner bag and some balsa wood spars, fashioned a balloon and held it over the heat and up it went. About 50ft. Hmm. I fixed a couple of birthday candles on the center of spars and up it went about a hundred feet and slowly drifted away. I followed it till it went out over the valley and highway.
Next morning reports of UFO over highway.
