The personifications of five great British rivers created by John Thomas in 1847 for the building now known as Langside Halls in Glasgow. The Clyde is in the middle (crowned by two fish with rings in their mouths), while the other rivers represented are thought to be the Thames, the Severn, the Tweed and the Humber.

Syncasters were used throughout the Conflict. A novel repurposing of brain matter & tech. Units operated inside enemy territory prior to attack. Recovered brain matter transmitted on alpha, beta, gamma, & theta waves. Incoherent "white noise" would incapacitate a resident population (plus mammals). Their resources were then acquired. Unit has a stable power source with over 30yrs of broadcast. It is infected with organelles.
