Finally, some warm days, if only for a fleeting few moments. How magnificent it is to see the blooms stretching their petals, gleefully freed from the ever present chill and rain

When Mother Natures wants to make sure we all know it's still Spring... At least the never ending rain makes for some pretty pictures, yes?

This is my indie pop daydream—sun-soaked, sea-splashed, and made for blasting with the windows down. I wrote and produced this track as a love letter to the East Coast, chasing that golden “song of the summer”vibe. EAST COAST OUT JUNE 20th!!!
I hope you enjoy it ☀️🌊

Overly-exhausted and artificially caffeinated random blabby-chat to follow:
Full admission, I used to be absolutely terrified of spiders and there still are some that give me a good jump scare. That said, photographing them is something that helped me combat my fear. Through observing patiently with any kind of lens as an excuse to slow the panic in my mind, I learned that these creatures are quite exquisite. Now, there isn't a jumping spider (not pictured but is my favorite) I come across that I don't try to befriend! (Including one I got into my hand to bring outdoors last year, a feet no one could see as a single possibility in this lifetime).

This little wee one was exploring this web yesterday afternoon between rails of a walking bridge over the river far below. It was quite difficult to get the camera to focus on the spider due to how small it is and everything else going on, and a breeze didn't help, but all of that gave me more time to admire this little muse.

Long story never short; I hope more people are able to slow down and appreciate just how spectacular our spider friends are, and even challenge fears by allowing ourselves to become better acquainted with those we may fear.

Secluded white sand tropical beach, Aitutaki, Cook Islands, South Pacific. May 1990.

A deep blue sky with streaky white clouds. A pale sand beach on an aqua and blue ocean. A cluster of tall palm trees lean out over the beach from a little knoll covered with leafy shrubs. The beach winds around a bay to a small peninsula with another cluster of shrubs and palm trees. A small, very low wooded islet not far offshore lies beyond.

After the Deluge. Two seagulls rest on a far offshore rock as the sun begins to break through and the Atlantic flattens out after a stormy day at Acadia National Park, Maine. April, 1981.

Monochrome image. Two seagulls rest on a far offshore rock as the sun begins to break through and the Atlantic flattens out after a stormy day at Acadia National Park. It is late in the afternoon. There are dark clouds in the sky, but also patches of clear sky and breaks of sunshine. Some rocks just offshore and a rocky islet a bit farther offshore are silhouetted against a dark ocean with bright highlights. The ocean is still a bit choppy with small waves and swells. Two seagulls standing on that islet are also silhouetted.

"Where the Mountains Meet the Sea". Echo Lake and Sommes Sound from Beach Mountain, Acadia National Park, Maine. From April 1981.

Beneath a clear blue sky we are standing on a light gray granite outcrop atop a mountain, looking out over the tops of a mixed forest of evergreens and leafless hardwoods running down the mountainside before us. Just beyond the trees on our left and just below us is a rocky crag with only a few stunted pines growing from crevices along its crest. A large deep blue pond dominates the view below in front of us. To our right a small rounded mountain rises from the pond's shore. Beyond the pond is a narrow, flat wooded strip of land backed by a long ocean inlet and then another relatively fat piece of land with a range of mountains to our right and scattered mountains along the horizon.

Oh my goodness I love this! Little bumbley bee bumbling around the flowers, hard at work! From my afternoon walk with the puppers!
