Non bisogna sdrammatizzare. Ognuno vive le emozioni, e vivere le emozioni è bellissimo, anche se uno si commuove e piange cosa significa? Che siamo fragili? Sì, lo siamo, non mi sembra che sia il caso di sdramatizzare”.

Brancale, in occasione della finale di Sanremo, aveva omaggiato la mamma indossando proprio un suo abito. Nei giorni della kermesse l’artista aveva spiegato in sala stampa, commuovendosi fino alle lacrime: “Quest’anno sono più figlia e meno personaggio. Perdere una persona cara fa male a tutti”. E ancora: “Ora la canzone è di tutti, mi sono liberata. È una bellissima liberazione, perché la musica non è solo accordi e ballare. Bisogna prendere consapevolezza che la musica è una riflessione. Porto una carezza e una lettera a mia madre”.
