Norman J. Warren's first film, Her Private Hell, is not bad and actually almost kind of great. It shows that he has a bit of an eye for making film and the leads of Lucia Modunio,Terry Skelton, Daniel Ollier, and Pearl Catlin are pretty good in the movie.

Working my way through the complete works of Al Adamson means watching the 'erotic cult classic' The Sexy Stewardesses. Hell, I've endured Ray Dennis Steckler's The Mad Love Of A Hot Vampire so anything after that is going to feel like a masterpiece.
This made decent money and it's no surprise as this 1975 sexploitation flick seems to have a budget and is well made. In competition with actual porn, 70s sexploitation films really had to have something special and I have to say that this one is well-directed, groovy, kitsch and endearingly naive in parts. That's before we even get onto the ice-cool soundtrack.
Then there's the sex scenes with old man. No. No. Nope.
And then another. Also no.

Lord knows where Something Weird dredged up 'Passion In The Sun' from, but this 1964 'Roughie' is far out. Cuban gangsters kidnap a stripper with a bizarrely long sequence of her fighting one of them in a moving car. This is followed by an absurdly long stripper/gangster/cop chase sequence with a bass-driven soundtrack so repetitive that it wouldn't be out of place on an OM album.
Believing that she's got away, our heroine then goes skinny-dipping for no apparent reason! Oh, and the action is punctuated by sequences of strippers on stage. Nothing to do with the plot. Just strippers stripping. Oh and just to add some horror to the mix, there's an escaped circus freak to terrorise our young lovely.
I thought I knew what 60s American trash cinema was, but this is the absolute trashiest. It's a time capsule of sleaze so profound that it's almost art.

Virgin Hunters (also known as Test Tube Teens from the Year 2000) is one of those movies that really showed how enjoyable Full Moon movies were, especially in the 90s. This is a movie that would later get some "in name only" sequels that were covered later on the blog.
