The #CongressApp for #39c3 has substantial support for Shortcuts. You can go through lists and favorites, change favorite status and create or update lists. This also allows you to export data to other apps. E.g. you can create a note with all your favorites. Future versions will add more functionality. If you have a specific use case let me know. I like #Apple #Shortcuts — and use several of them daily. To keep some order between the ones I actually use and drafts etc., I've placed my favourites in a folder called Favourites.

I don't know how it happened, but I've somehow managed to delete this exact folder, including all the shortcuts in it! 🙃

Also turns out shortcuts aren't backed up via Time Machine, and that deleted ones aren't anywhere to find on iCloud…

We are probably fighting the same war!
I have a "light" #Spotlight with only apps and sys prefs enabled (I use Finder search with Cmd+Alt+Space for files). I welcomed that #macOS Tahoe would also include #Shortcuts (no need to export them as app with "Add to Dock").
Alas, #Spotlight on Tahoe is still cluttered with fonts, dev source files, etc. that I can’t get rid of.
I never liked #Launchpad as it was fullscreen but my workaround is to use Cmd+Space for "Show Apps".

Actions For Obsidian v2025.2 is out! Required update for #macOS 26.1 users, as it fixes a nasty bug stemming from some changes introduced in 26.1.

Vieles lässt sich mit der #Tastatur viel schneller erledigen. Bis manche überhaupt ihre Maus gefunden haben, bin ich schon drei Schritte weiter.

Der Zen Browser macht da keine Ausnahme.

Bad: when sorting your #Shortcuts list (in Shortcuts.app on #macOS) on 'last edit' it processes the datetime field as text. So, 25-10-2025 is 'more recent' than 10-11-2025.
Is this cobbled together by an intern?

Shipping the first version with Shortcut support. Pretty cool that you can execute them from the CLI.

Also pretty cool that these Shortcuts are in a SwiftPM and can be reused for the upcoming iOS version.

Well, that was not fun. For some reason today macOS26 just decided to delete all of my Shortcuts Folders and about 20 or so Shortcuts. The Shortcuts are backed up but not the folder structure and which was where. #Apple #macos26 #Shortcuts
