最近连绵两天大暴雨停歇后，我和面具双双病倒。
一起买了药吃，结果她迅速康复，我却迟迟未愈。
询问小D，它理性分析：「面具来自海边，比你耐湿。」
还贴心地制定了详细服药攻略，最后安慰我：「其实你的身体底子非常好。」
回想起来，从创业至今，身体始终像根绷到极限的皮筋，不敢松懈，生怕一松即断。
这次生病，反倒像一次强制重启——所有隐藏的病灶一股脑冒了出来，也好，就当是彻底排毒了！
（虽然面具躺在我身边疯狂咳嗽说：「你闻上去有剧毒…」💦）

So I have Covid...What a week (more to report later). I am being forced to take some much needed rest. Sitting on our patio right now getting some fresh air, having a warm coffee, and making some good progress in my "The Lord of the Rings" re-read. It is like a warm, cozy blanket on a grey day.

I have no idea what is wrong with me, but I'm declaring myself officially "under the weather." When I'm under the weather I drink caffeinated tea 🫖🍵 whenever I feel like it, with zero fucks given. When I'm sick it disturbs sleep anyway, and sleep during the day is often appealing.
I see my healthcare provider on Friday.
"Dad, you have shoes, there's a weird orange thing in the yard?"

Actually had enough energy to go return a book to the library, pick up a prescription, and come home and heat up a can of soup for lunch, and make some fruited Jello. Because I still love fruited Jello. And Jello is great Sick Day food.
I'm going to change into something comfy and slouch on the couch.
I thought I could skip catching a cold this year, but no. It hit me over the weekend. How miserable it is! Of course, today was the first day in weeks that the sun was out. But hey, at least I can lie on the couch with a cat. Cats make our lives better.

Good morning, Mastodonians! Happy Monday! I know I'm late...but I have reason. I am sick...some bug latched on to me and I was up most of the night coughing. Got chest congestion and a mild fever...took a COVID test and it was negative, thank goodness, but I'm hunkering down and hoping it will pass.
