Das neue Reisezentrum des Zentralen Omnibusbahnhof Berlin ist geöffnet. Es sind noch nicht alle Läden bezogen, aber im Wesentlichen scheint der langjährige Umbau des ZOB abgeschlossen.
Es gibt neben Ticketverkaufsstellen Gastronomie und Kiosk, im OG sind Räume für mehr davon.
Die Reisenden kulminieren an den eleganten hölzernen Sitzmöbeln. Davon gibt es einige, aber der Fokus des Raumes liegt nicht in dem Maße auf den reinen Aufenthalt, wie es in der dicht bebankten alten Halle (und auch der lange betriebenen provisorischen Container-Halle) der Fall war.
Auf der Sitzinsel vor mir warten Familien (ein bis zwei). An der Betonsäule lehnen Koffer und Taschen und bilden einen kleinen Turm. Andere Reisende hantieren mit Laptops, einer öffnet verstohlen eine Flasche Bier, eine Frau legt sich hin. Ein Typ mit Trolley mit Putzwerkzeug leert die Mülleimer.

The new travel centre of the Berlin Central Bus Station is open. Not all the shops have been moved into yet, but the many years of remodelling of the ZOB appear to be essentially complete.
In addition to ticket sales outlets, there is gastronomy and kiosks, with rooms for more on the upper floor.
Travellers are culminating at the elegant wooden seating furniture. There are quite a few of those seats, but the focus of the space is not as much on just being there as it was in the densely banked old hall (and also the temporary container hall that was in operation for a long time).
Families (one or two) are waiting on the seating island in front of me. Suitcases and bags are leaning against the concrete pillar, forming a small tower. Other travellers are fiddling with laptops, someone furtively opens a bottle of beer, a woman lies down. A guy with a trolley with cleaning equipment empties the rubbish bins.
