Off to the derm to have some stitches removed from my arm where a squamous cell carcinoma used to live before excision. As I age, the derm has even more to do. Every time I go it’s like: “Oh, look at that, and that, and that…” You get the picture. Shoulda used a lot more sunscreen along the way, paying the price now. It’s a tightrope walk to be sure, getting enough Vitamin D while protecting one’s skin. Also guys, we need to moisturize just like our partners do - like every day. Not a usual masculine habit, but it should be! 🧴YSK, the skin is the body’s largest organ, it requires regular care and maintenance. #skin #SkinCare #health

I may not have gotten the #Rituals products that I wanted, but thanks to #Etsi and the awesomeness of #small, independent #businesses, I got everything I wanted to get to enhance my body with products meant to make my #skin smoother and more toned, make myself smell nice, get a scent for the room, and even get myself those Pajamas that I wanted, although I went with a Kimono -style Pyjama set instead of something regal, because ultimately, I want something that feels comfortable to wear. Next paycheck, I'll be buying some nice, comfortable underwear to upgrade my #underwear game from the same pairs I've been wearing since I was like 13 or so. Also got some different types of #soap that I hope will compliment the rest of my routine, because I want the smell to be noticeable enough when I go out and I want my skin to look a little brighter, not in color as I have dark skin by default because I am Colombian, but brighter in the sense that I want it to look a little younger than it does now. Hell, I went to the #bar on Saturday and the person at the bar who I was speaking to thought I was closer to 32 than 26 and while that's not something I'm insecure about, 32 is pretty way off actually, so younger, smoother skin it is, but mainly for me than for anyone else, because I love the idea of being able to trace my body and feel the smoothness of my skin as well as the change in how tight it is on me. Yes, I know, I'm probably thinking too much about this, but I can't help myself and it also feels pretty liberating.

More sunscreens pulled from shelves over SPF concerns
