Sneachta, sneachta, how cold you are.

The R560 Conor Pass has a dusting of snow and has become quite slippy - travel to Dingle via Annascaul on the N86.
@detachedspork Whaaaaat?? Are we talking midlands area?
We've had rain starting up here in Dubland just in the past half hour or so - it's heavy and plonking, so maybe some hail in there? 😬
GOD HAS FORSAKEN ME!!!
Joining ye with the snow
#sneachta
We were feeling a little left out with the lack of snow in Dublin so took a spin up to @SaveTheHellfire where there was still lots on the ground - enough to build a snowman!
I got a chance to mispronounce #sneachta for a nice child in a bookstore today.
Great video on RTÉ from Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team (DWMRT). Unfortunately it won't stop people from thinking "but I'll be able to handle the conditions!" but hopefully it might sway a few people? https://www.rte.ie/news/weather/2025/0110/1489992-motorists-wicklow-mountains/ #sneachta

Amazing shot of the Hellfire Club on Montpelier Hill taken by Alan Cowzer. Taken from Tymon Park on January 6th from the field beside the N81/M50 interchange (beside the Millenium Tower Telephone Mast). #sneachta #photography
It’s so cold I saw lawyers with their hands in their own pockets
It’s so cold the rock rattling around in my boot is my pinkie toe…
It’s colder than the shady side of a banker’s heart out there…
It’s colder than a mother in-laws kiss out there…
