The same commitment that led the International Brigades to Spain in the 1930s moves through today’s struggles in Rojava and Myanmar, where communities are building freedom through mutual aid, self-organization, and collective defense.

The fight against authoritarianism is not confined by nation or language — it is a shared movement of care, resistance, and liberation. To stand with those who struggle is to recognize that our freedom is bound up with theirs.

1. Our value is independent of our work status and performance.

2. Our identity transcends how we sell our time to sustain ourselves financially.

3. Rest is a right, not a reward.

4. No one is coming to bail us out, so all we have is each other. We must treat each other with love and care.
