So dieses Jahr hab ich 3x #Neujahr gehabt. Europäisch, chinesisch, thailändisch. Gerade ist in #Bangkok, #songkran. Ich hab in Berlin die "grosse Love-Parade" mitgemacht. Aber, C-Schläuche einsetzen, um effektiv die komplette Kreuzung zu besprühen ... Respekt. Und vor allem ... #Klimakleber legen die Stadt lahm. Wer diese Worte sagt, war noch nie in #Bangkok u. schon gar während #sonkran. DAS nenne ich mal lahm legen.

#thailand is celebrating #songkran today and I'm in auditory delight as a sensory seeker. Songkran is a water holiday often described as a nation wide water fight. Part of the delight is that people become a parade, rigging their own trucks with a PA system, pumping Thai Cha-Cha, stopping and pouring water on each other. Drivers carry their own favorite songs, my walls and windows shaking as songs fade and overlap, motorbikes adding their sound, squeals of delight with splashing sounds.
