Just a reminder, but Southwest got acquired by private equity, so they charge for bags now. :drgn_sigh: With that said, paying for Southwest bags has been an absolute odyssey. First they don't have a way to prepay for bags, so I had to use their magnetic reader (read, not chip reader) at the airport. :corgi_wtf1: Fine. Whatever. Fast forward to paying and I couldn't put my card into the machine because apparently someone else had left their card in the slot (again, not a chip reader, like??? :neodog_shocked: ), and, when I pulled it out, whoever left it behind ended up paying for it. I told the ticketing agent about it and she just threw up her hands and said she didn't know what to do. I feel super guilty for having some rando pay for my bags, but there isn't anything I can do I guess.

Then Southwest sent my bag to a completely random city for 24 hours. :blobfoxtableflip: The baggage clerk was helpful but really confused that I wasn't, in fact, in Phoenix instead of where I am now. I get a slip and a promise to get my bag that night, but like I said, it wasn't until the next day. However, don't worry, they made me whole again by refunding the bag costs... to whomever it was that paid for my bags.
