You wouldn't guess from this sensible image that I and my team had a kind of creative lock in at @metoffice this weekend. Sounds like the setting for a film. #spaceapps with #nasa meant for us it was just that - only we sent Mrs Peach into space. A brilliant hackathon weekend we sort of showboated into as a gang of creative besties with @SimonBrett Obi Wan spirit fizzing nearby in our minds. A squad to change the worlds.

We pressed "submit for judging". That wraps up our #NASA #SpaceApps 2023 work on #OpenNightSky, a @Raspberry_Pi@raspberrypi.social based astrophoto augmentation that directly displays information of direction, the Moon and satellites on the photo almost realtime.

The hackathon was fun.
Let's see, if we will be selected global nominees. And if not, we will still use OpenNightSky. Because it helps us stargazing and spotting satellites.
