Terminal Velocity was released 30 years ago in May 1995. A Windows version was released later in September as Fury3, which was the first game to run natively in Windows 95.
Playing this coming from X-Wing and TIE Fighter, this game was different and much simpler. But it plays a lot like Quake in a fighter plane, which was a real blast.

Guess i have to get a new ship in #starcitizen . I prefer asymmetrical spaceships, and the interior is vertical. Will probably meld my Cutter for it eventually. But the Cutter has a lot more interactive buttons, so that's the only downside.
