Golden Monkey Tea

In my regular tea order (Sencha, Pu-Erh + white teas) I usually get sent a sample I have never tasted.

While I wait for my sourdough whole grain flatbreads to bake, I decided to try this variety I was sent.

I am no tea connaisseur, but this has a lovely mild taste, beautifully sweet and delicate in the first (western style) brew. The tea in the pot is the second brew.
