Es war gut, zum #Frostpendeln das #Fahrrad mit den #Spikes zu nehmen.

Mit Umweg zur Zahnärztin waren es dann 35 km fast nur durch Schneematsch, manchmal mit Eis drunter. Leider auch viele Dosenfahrer, die noch knapper als sonst überholt haben.

Bei solchen Radstreifen habe ich lieber den Fußweg genutzt. Das ist sicherer und es waren auch keine Fußgänger*innen unterwegs.

Verschneiter und vereister Weg durch Wiesen. Es sind etwa zehn Radspuren sowie eine Fuß- und eine Hundespur zu erkennen. Im Vordergrund eine Fahrradlampe und Bowdenzüge.

Straße in einer Stadt, geräumt und schneefrei, nur nass. Rechts ein Fußweg mit Kettenspuren eines Räumfahrzeuges, aber noch viel Restschnee. Am rechten Fahrbahnrand ein ungeräumter Radstreifen mit der Reifenspur eines Fahrrades.

In designing our Doxos series, we asked: what if this tough iconic form was re-imagined as intricately crafted heirloom jewelry? What if we fused the enduring archetype of spiked metal with precise linear geometry seen in Art Deco and High-Tech architecture?
